- <p> DIED. WILLIAM A. HENRY III, 44, journalist-critic; of a heart
- attack; in Maidenhead, England. A senior writer and theater
- critic for TIME for the past 13 years, Henry began his prolific,
- unusually wide-ranging career at the Boston Globe, where he
- won two Pulitzer Prizes, the first in 1975 for team coverage
- of racial conflict in Boston, the second in 1980 for his TV
- criticism. He also wrote the 1990 Emmy Award-winning PBS documentary
- Bob Fosse: Steam Heat. Henry's books include an account of the
- 1984 presidential campaign and a biography of Jackie Gleason.
